Complementary Therapies to help ease the stresses of Modern Life and improve your sense of wellbeing
Complementary Therapies to help ease the stresses of Modern Life and improve your sense of wellbeing

About me

After 20 years of corporate life, working at a desk, behind a computer, with its associated stress (and agonising shoulder tension!) I took the plunge in 2013 to pursue training towards my dream of a much more fulfilling and rewarding career in complementary therapies.

Reflexology and various Massage Therapy treatments had really helped me cope with life's challenges and  I was inspired by some amazing therapists who genuinely loved trying to help others to feel better.

My aim is to make a positive difference to all my clients, provide high quality, personally tailored therapies that will assist in improving my clients' health and enhance their welbeing

I initially trained in ITEC Level 3 Massage and Anatomy and Physiology with the very talented Sylvia Brearley at her school in Harrogate.

I then completed practitioners Diplomas in Indian Head Massage,Thai foot massage, Hot Stones Massage and Deep Tissue Massage.

After my years working in an office I am very keen to offer help to those still doing so which has lead me into the world of On-Site Seated Acupressure massage which is simply fantastic, I REALLY wish I had had the chance to ge the benefit of this for myself during my 'office years!' I trained with the AOSM and have a City & Guilds Diploma in Seated Acupressure.

I have a level 3 C&G Diploma in Reflexology having trained with the excellent Vicky Laws at the International School of Reflexology which teaches the oriignal (Eunice) Ingham method. My practical training has been enhanced by attending workshops which involved 1:1 tuition and a treatment myself from one of the main men in the field today  - Dwight Byers (Eunice's nephew).

In order to make my treatments even more effective for my clients and achieve higher standards of care I see CPD as vital , so I pledge to comtinually invest in my training attending further study courses and seminars to to enhance my skills as a therapist and keep abreast with latest research
